Meeker Handprint Merlot 2019

The 2018 Winemaker’s Handprint is anchored by a blend of two Merlot vineyards, one in Alexander Valley (32.25%) and one in Dry Creek Valley (58.06%). The fruit from Dry Creek lends structure, volume, and rustic character. The fruit from Alexander Valley is elegant, complex, and austere. These two vineyards, which we have worked with since the late 90’s, are better together than they are individually, and the 2018 vintage is another excellent example of the complexity and layers they build together.
